Therapy with me is collaborative, conversational, and grounded in authenticity rather than judgment. You do not need to show up perfectly organized, emotionally regulated, or able to explain everything “the right way” in order to deserve support.
Many of the people I work with are exhausted from years of masking, over functioning, people-pleasing, surviving burnout, or trying to force themselves into expectations that never fit them in the first place. Some clients come in feeling emotionally overwhelmed and disconnected from themselves. Others are carrying shame from years of being misunderstood by family members, workplaces, schools, relationships, or even previous therapists.
I strive to create a space where clients can speak honestly without feeling pressured to minimize their struggles, perform wellness, or pretend they are functioning better than they actually are.
In-person sessions may be available depending on scheduling and location availability. Some clients prefer face-to-face support in a shared therapeutic space, while others appreciate the flexibility and comfort of telehealth. Together, we can determine what environment feels most supportive and sustainable for your needs.
Telehealth sessions are available for clients located in Kansas, Florida and Idaho. Many clients appreciate the ability to attend therapy from the comfort of their own environment, especially those managing burnout, sensory sensitivities, chronic illness, anxiety, transportation barriers, or overwhelming schedules.
Sessions are conducted through a secure HIPAA-compliant platform version of Zoom, and I strive to make the experience feel approachable, supportive, and accessible rather than overly clinical or intimidating.
I have a particular passion for working with autistic and ADHD adults, including individuals navigating masking, sensory overwhelm, burnout, emotional regulation difficulties, identity exploration, shutdowns, social exhaustion, or the long-term impact of constantly feeling “different.”
Therapy does not focus on forcing neurodivergent people to appear more neurotypical. Instead, we work toward greater self-understanding, reduced shame, sustainable coping strategies, healthier boundaries, and building a life that works more effectively for your actual brain and nervous system.
Direct communication, honesty, flexibility, and collaborative problem-solving are all welcome in sessions.
My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to creating a supportive environment where clients can show up fully as themselves without fear of judgment, pathologizing, or needing to explain or defend their identity.
I recognize that many LGBTQIA+ individuals carry experiences related to rejection, masking, chronic stress, identity-related trauma, family conflict, or feeling unsafe in healthcare and mental health spaces. Therapy should not be another place where clients feel pressured to edit themselves in order to feel accepted.
I have been privileged to support clients through many different stages of gender identity exploration and transition. Whether someone is questioning, newly exploring their identity, socially transitioning, medically transitioning, or simply trying to better understand themselves, I believe therapy should be a space where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely affirmed.
When clinically appropriate, I may provide documentation related to Emotional Support Animals (ESA) or workplace/school accommodations as part of ongoing treatment.
I understand that many neurodivergent and mentally ill individuals have spent years struggling in environments that were not designed with their needs in mind. Accommodations are not about “special treatment.” They are often about reducing unnecessary barriers and helping people function more sustainably and safely.
Recommendations are always made on an individual basis and depend on clinical assessment, treatment history, ethical guidelines, and the nature of the request.
